What My Kid Wore Wednesday #2

Tee – Next | Dress – Boden |

We’re on holiday this week and I thought what better way to show off one of my favourite dresses for Betty than to get her wearing it on the beach.
If you know me you’ll know I have a slight obsession with Boden dresses for Betty. They are colourful, pretty and such good quality (worth the price tag)

This one is one of my absolute favourites, it’s known as her ‘rainbow’ dress in our house and Betty loves it too.

Check out the detailing one the back, it went straight into my basket as soon as I saw the back. I can’t wait until the summer months and she can wear it without a top on underneath.

Betty’s hair bobble is by the lovely Erica at Ditsy Dot shop, you can find her on Instagram. I became a little obsessed with her beautiful creations last year and I do a few bulk orders throughout the year to make sure Betty’s crazy mane is kept under control!

Can’t believe I joined in for a second week, check me out!

What My Kid Wore Wednesday

So here we go, its finally the Easter holidays and I’m able to join in with What My Kid Wore Wednesday.  I recently popped into Tesco and picked up this cute dress for Betty, she absolutely loves it and has been known to hunt through the washing pile if she can’t find it in her wardrobe! I don’t know if anyone else’s almost three year old is growing quicker than usual but Betty is having one mammoth growth spurt at the moment. She was in need of some cardigans that fit so I had a look on the Vertbaudet website and placed an order for the blue cardigan plus the pink and grey versions too (oops!) I love the embroidery around the edges and they go with everything.

Not wanting to get too ahead of myself but… see you next week for more (hopefully!)

Thanks for reading,

Weekend Mini Style

Well here we go, after over a year away we’re back and joining in with weekend mini style!I didn’t plan to join in this week but Betty is letting me take photos of her as we leave the house so I thought why not. I love dressing her and it’ll be fun to look back on some posts in 20 years time!

The weather turned a corner this week and became a lot colder which means all Betty’s pretty outfits are covered by winter coats and I don’t like it. Thank goodness for this blog so I can show off the dresses that I spent a fortune on!

img_4453Now the weather is cooler I needed to get some warmer bits for Betty so I dashed into town on Thursday evening and picked up some trousers and tops for Betty and the cutest ear muffs! (Stayed tuned for those!)

Weekend Baby Style

So here we go, my second attempt at the Weekend Baby style. I have decided the only way I can take part in this is to capture Betty’s outfits throughout the week and not from the weekend.

I had so much fun dressing Betty this week and we have loads of fun taking photographs. Betty loved bouncing and rolling on our bed and she loves to climb up on the bedhead, she thinks she’s very clever!

The creator of Weekend Baby Style, Hannah, is taking a very well earned break from blogging so Sarah from The Knott Bump & Us has taken over. Check out her blog HERE she explains how to take part in the linky.

Day one…

Top – Mothercare, Leggings- Zara, Socks- Sainsburys, Hair clip- Sainsburys

I’m not a huge fan of ‘ I love Daddy/Mummy’ slogan tops but when I saw this I just had to buy it. Stripes, navy, white and pink. It shouted spring and it shouted cute 💛 The leggings are a deep navy and so soft, they also have a little bit of lace detail at the bottom of each leg. I think they were only £3.99,bargain!

Day two…

Jacket- Carters, Top- Zara, Jeans- Sainsburys

This outfit melted my heart, it made Betty look so grown up and ruddy cute too! I have a slight obsession with her top from Zara, they really do do the best baby clothes. The jeans are adorable and have an adjustable waist so will last her for ages and they were only £6! The jacket had to make an apperence again, it’s my favourite and as its warmer at the moment it’s perfect for her to wear if we nip to the shops.

Day three…

Top/Dress- Gap, Leggings- Gap

The dress was a hand me down and I love it. Baby Gap usually comes up quite small but this dress is still huge on Betty so lots of wear still to come!

The leggings were a bargain in the sale and they just so happen to be the same colour as the stripe on the dress. I love it when it all just comes together out of luck! Oh, please excuse the creases, I don’t see the point of ironing baby clothes!

Thank you for reading and don’t forget to check out the other babies on Sarah’s blog.

Weekend Baby Style

We had a quiet day yesterday, just hanging out at home after a week apart (pretty much). For this Betty wore comfy clothes and so did I!

Friday’s outfit…

  • Top – Carter’s
  • Leggings – Fred and Noah

IMG_3202

How cute are those leggings! I’m a little bit obsessed with anything ‘elephant’ so I just had to get these when I saw them. They are such good quality and the cuff at the bottom of the leg goes in which I love 🙂 The top had a glitter print of ballet shoes and a pretty pink bow which tied in nicely with the pink of the leggings. I find Carter’s clothes come up really small…this top is for 12 months and it fits Betty nicely, lucky I tried it on her as I was going to wait until she was one to wear it!

Today we are having a family day, although it looks like it might a day of dodging rain!

For this Betty is wearing…..

  • Top – Next
  • Trousers – Marks and Spencer
  • Hat – John Lewis

blog 001

I love this outfit. The trousers are more like treggings and they are such a lovely colour. The top is 9-12 months and it pretty big on Betty, its quite a sheer material so definitely needs a vest underneath. I got the hat when Betty was about 4 months and it was huge, I thought it was one size but turns out it wasn’t. Hey ho, it just about fits her now, not that there’s much point putting a hat on her as she finds pulling it off hilarious!
